Online FIR Registration : 58 FIR Registered in KPK

In Peshawar, capital of KPK online FIR system is established. Its an impressive step of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insan government in  KPK, and in 90 days of the provincial government more than 58 FIR re being registered online. As per Peshawar Police Department, its first time in the history of Pakistan that FIR are being registered online and its very impressive step by the government of KPK.

A proper control room is being established that monitors the registered FIR's and its free service that is available 24 hours. A computer operator is also available who monitors all the complaints in the control room.

Peshawar Police says that more than 360 complaints were registered in 90 days , out of them 58 were investigated and others remain under process.

Now its a new progress in the province of KPK, citizens can register their complaint online and they are being processed by the Peshawar Police and they can also check the status of the complaint. After the registration the team informs the local police station about the FIR , a copy is also sent to the head office of the Police station through Fax.

In new system Police will work in 72 hours after the FIR registration. Since 2008, many citizens in Peshawar hesitated to visit Police station after the threats and security issues and submit their complaint but now they need not to worry about that as they can submit their complaint online.
